There’s something incredibly special about a wedding at home — the place where so many of life’s moments have already unfolded. Avery and Cole chose to say “I do” right in their own backyard, surrounded by the people they love most, and it was nothing short of beautiful.
Set against the rustic charm of their property, the ceremony took place surrounded by fields and a bright summer sky. With temperatures soaring into the 90s, the love and joy shared between the couple (and their amazing crew of family and friends) outshone even the heat. There were hand-held fans, ice-cold drinks, and lots of laughter to keep things cool — and trust us, it was worth every sun-drenched moment.
The couple exchanged vows surrounded by their wedding party and the familiar comforts of home. Their yard was transformed into a gorgeous celebration space, complete with carefully curated florals and thoughtful details that reflected their personality — rustic textures, soft greenery, and delicate touches that made the day feel equal parts elegant and grounded.
We couldn’t get enough of the sweet, sentimental details — from the hand-tied bouquets to the lovingly worn barn wood and vintage décor scattered around the property. And wait until you see the rings!
After the ceremony, we stole a few quiet moments with Cole and Avery to capture their portraits — and wow, did these two absolutely glow. Even in the heat, their connection was effortless and full of joy. Against the backdrop of their own land, with golden sunlight streaming through the trees and rustic textures all around, every frame told a story of comfort, love, and being exactly where they’re meant to be: together.
From the moment she stepped outside, all eyes were on Avery — and for good reason. She was absolutely radiant. Her dress and beautiful dropped sleeves flowed effortlessly in the summer breeze, and every detail, from her hair and makeup to her bouquet, felt perfectly her: timeless, elegant, and full of heart.
After the ceremony, guests gathered for a relaxed and joyful reception that carried late into the evening. There was a campfire, delicious food, and the kind of golden light photographers dream of.
